Ben&Ben to Hold Online Benefit Concert for ‘Balik Eskwela’ Initiatives
BEN&BEN – OPM band Ben&Ben is set to hold an online concert to raise funds for ‘balik-eskwela’ initiatives.
Pinoy band Ben&Ben are the geniuses behind the famous songs “Lifetime,” “Ride Home,” “Kathang Isip,” and “Pagtingin.” They 9-piece indie-folk pop band is taking over the Philippines’ music industry by storm because of their touching songs.
The OPM band won the Best Performance by a Group of Recording Artists for their song “Pagtingin” at the 33rd Awit Awards. Their “Limasawas Street” bagged the Favorite Album of the Year Award.
Last September 26, Ben&Ben’s Miguel and Paulo shared their expertise on songwriting in an online class organized by MYX Philippines. The 100 slots immediately filled just over an hour after the registration opened.

On Monday, September 28, Ben&Ben took to their Facebook Page to announce that they are set to hold an online concert to raise funds for ‘balik-eskwela’ project. They will perform their hit songs in their hour-long online concert.
The group aims to help the teachers and students to adapt to the “new normal.” The proceeds are used to acquire school supplies needed for distance learning, vitamins for teachers, care packages with PPEs.
Ben&Ben encourage the netizens to donate. With only PHP 300, you will be able to provide a student with a basic learning kit with printed modules, pencil, expandable envelope, eraser and sharpener.
The band’s online concert for ‘Balik-Eskwela’ initiatives will be streamed on their Youtube Channel and Facebook Page this Sunday, October 4.
