House Helper Arrested For Allegedly Stealing P500K In Muntinlupa
HOUSE HELPER – A house helper was recently arrested after he was allegedly caught in the act for stealing P500K in Muntinlupa City.
The Southern Police District reported that the crime occurred at a subdivision at Barangay Putatan, according to a report from ABS-CBN.
The owner of the house claimed that upon entering her master’s bedroom, she saw the said helper grabbing something from her safety deposit box. The woman screamed and called for her spouse.
The suspect hurriedly ran away but was eventually caught by the male owner. The suspect allegedly stole nearly half a million pesos worth of cash
Retrieved from the suspect was a bundle of cash which is worth P100,000, which made the employer wonder where the remaining P444,000 left.
The suspect is currently under custody of the Muntinlupa police and will face charges for qualified theft, based on the report.
The police are currently investigating to locate the missing cash.
