AirAsia Offers P8 Seat Sale To Help Revitalize Tourism To Boracay
AIRASIA BORACAY PROMO – One of the biggest airlines in the Philippines, AirAsia said they would offer a P8 seat sale to support the reopening of Boracay.
Passengers who plan to fly to Boracay could get base fares for as low as P8. Meanwhile, its SNAP flight and hotel deals provide a 30% discount on flights. Along with this, there’s also an 8% off on Boracay activities using the promo code BORA8 which you can check out on their website.
Furthermore, the promo would run from September 29 to October 4. According to an article from ABS-CBN, AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla said:
The overall implementation of this reopening will be the model for the restoration of leisure travel to more domestic destinations. Right now, our goal is to stimulate activity inside local economies by supporting businesses and enterprises heavily affected by the pandemic
Recently, the island of Boracay has been announced to be open to the public come October 1st. However, as per the article, tourists coming are required to present the following as a safety precaution against the spread of COVID-19:
- Medical certificate issued by any government physician
- Travel authority pass issued by the Philippine National Police (PNP)
- A Health Declaration Card which can be found at aklan.gov.ph
- Negative RT-PCR test results taken within 72 hours prior to their departure date
- Booking confirmation details for hotel/resort to be presented upon check-in and arrival
Furthermore, if you’re travelling from Metro Manila, you also need to test Negative for COVID-19 and have undergone quarantine before leaving.
