Singer-actor Mark Bautista shared a piece of his mind regarding the issue between Piolo Pascual and Rustom Padilla that BB Gandanghari brought up in her YouTube vlogs.

The transwoman vlogger revealed the “intimate encounter” between Piolo and Rustom. This brought out mixed reactions from the online community. Some netizens supported BB’s revelation while some accused her of using the A-list actor of more views.

Several celebrities in the Philippines also expressed their reactions regarding this issue. Ai-Ai delas Alas, Ogie Diaz, Claudine Barretto, and Lolit Solis defended Piolo Pascual. On the other hand, Boy Abunda and Paolo Ballesteros tried to weigh the situation in a neutral way.

In line with this issue, the past issues involving the hunk actor was brought up. It will be recalled that his name also surfaced when Mark Bautista had his coming out. In his book, Beyond The Mark, he revealed that he and a guy friend became intimate when they got drunk.

Based on the article from PEP, the singer-actor was asked to react to the Piolo-Rustom issue. Mark initially said, “shucks!” when this topic was brought up during a virtual press conference for the show All Out Sundays.

Then, he said, “Ayokong mag-comment, kasi istorya nila iyan. So, wala akong… yeah! That’s their story, hindi ako puwedeng mag-comment. Yun lang.”

Mark Bautista added that amid the pandemic, people had the tendencies to bring out everything on social media. “So, lahat ngayon, naglalabas sa social media. Talagang papansinin at papansinin kahit maliliit na bagay,” he said.
