Two Million Heist In Sta. Cruz Manila Leaves Cop Killed

TWO MILLION HEIST – Four robbers stole P2 million worth of cash and other items in a heist in Sta. Cruz, Manila.

According to a report from ABS-CBN, the incident has left with one policeman dead, as stated by an official.

Manila police chief Brig. Gen. Rolando Miranda reported that the fatality was identified as Police Executive Master Sergeant Roel Candido.

Candido was driving a scooter and escorting the jewelry store owners who were on board a car when they were shot by the said four robbers. The heist also left 4 others injured

Miranda added that the fatality was in the wrong time and place and was considered a collateral damage.

“He was there in the wrong time, in the wrong place kaya naging collateral damage itong ating pulis,”

Based on the report, Miranda said that probers will talk to 4 other victims who are currently recovering from their injuries at the hospital and will check surveillance videos. This is in order to identify the robbers.
