Son of Karen Davila was rushed to emergency room after suffering from seizure.
KAREN DAVILA – Veteran broadcaster Karen Davila shared on Monday a story of faith after her son David suffered from a full blown seizure.
David is Karen Davila’s son with husband DJ Sta. Ana. They were blessed with two children and the other is Lucas. And just recently, coming home from an overnight trip to Sorsogon, they were warmly welcomed by their son David who just suddenly suffered a full blown seizure.
Davila said that seizure attacks are common to kids with autism but as for her son, it wasn’t. The last attack he had which scared her the most was when he was just 7 years old. And when this happened, she became frantic that all she can do is to non-stop call the Lord while her husband and their condominium’s staff were quick to respond equipped with proper knowledge to save her son.
“They were fast thinkers, equipped to assist, and knew what to do to make sure he would stay alive. And all I did was shout the name of our Lord Jesus Christ non-stop, asking Him to heal and save David,” she detail. Calling that scary incident as her family’s “amazing grace”, she is nothing but grateful to the Lord for saving their son. He has woken up already accordingly and undergoing a 24-hour video EEG for the monitoring of his brain function.
She also shared what she learned and that is there is power in calling the Lord. She added, “It doesn’t matter who you are, what church you go to, whether you think you’re a good or bad person – calling on the name of Jesus changes everything!”
