Man Makes Bicycle From Wood In Guimaras, Goes Viral
MAN MAKES BICYCLE FROM WOOD – Having a bike is something that most people take for granted. However, not everybody was lucky enough to afford a bike.
This was the story of a man from Guimaras named Jannifer Cabaya who went viral for his creation. Cabaya said that he’s always wanted a bike since he was a kid. Unfortunately, due to poverty, he never had a chance to own his own bike growing up.
Now, amid a pandemic that caused transportation woes, the 32-year-old Cabaya had to be creative. According to an article from ABS-CBN, Cabaya had to travel from the mountainside to the city. So, he decided to make his own bike made from recycled wood and metal.
When Cabaya was riding on the streets, he was spotted by Renzie Azucena who posted his situation on Facebook. Naturally, netizens lauded Cabaya for his creativity and his story went viral online.
As per the article, Cabaya said:
Matagal ko na pong gusto maka bisikleta. Di ko naman makaya bilhin kaya ginawan ko ng paraan… Ang harap na gulong hiniram ko lang
