Poor Man Together w/ 2 Kids, 7 Dogs Live in Pedicab
POOR MAN – A father of two children is living with his kids and seven dogs in a pedicab for five years now.
Undeniably, there are a lot of people in the Philippines who struggle daily to be able to buy food for their family most especially for the children. Most of these poor individuals are parents who would rather starve than see their kids hungry with nothing to eat.

One of these people is Anton Velasco, a father of two children. Despite how hard life is for them, he continues to persevere daily so his kids and their dogs will have something to it.
Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the poor man is living with his two kids and seven dogs in a pedicab for five years now. They made the pedicab their home since they can no longer afford to pay a rent for a house.
According to Anton, the mother of his children died and he earns by collecting plastic bottles and other things from trashes of other people and from the neighborhood.
Based on the report, the poor man would rather strive daily so he can buy food for his children and their dogs rather than beg for alms. Some of the dogs can be found inside the pedicab while others are already in the roof of the non-motorized vehicle.
Anton shared that he just saw some of the dogs in the streets and since no one is taking care of them, he just took them. He is also concerned about the safety of these animals which might get into a road accident.
The man is earning around Php 200.00 daily and he uses it to buy food not just for them but as well as for the dogs they are living with. He stressed that although they earn a little amount, they are fine.
