Catholics Celebrate Mama Mary’s Birthday Today, September 8

MAMA MARY’S BIRTHDAY – The Catholic people are celebrating the birthday of the Mother of Jesus today, September 8.

A lot of people most especially the religious ones call the Mother of Jesus Christ as “Mama Mary” – with God as the Almighty Father. Based on the Bible, she is the One chosen by the Father to bear His Son Who will rescue the world from the people’s trespasses.

Mary bore Jesus in a manger – a very humble beginning of a mission that will ask the Son of God to bear the suffering and die to save the world. Her partner, the Earthly father of Jesus, was Joseph.

The Catholics have huge love and respect for Mary who obeyed God’s will no matter how painful it is for a mother to see her son suffering. Most Catholic prayers also include the request for Her intercession.
