A Young Girl Accidentally Tied in a Kite Surfing Festival in Taiwan

A 3-year-old young girl was accidentally tied and was lifted several meters in the air by the kite participant of the kite surfing festival in Taiwan.

Recently, videos uploaded on social media shows a young girl taking part in the kite festival Sunday in the seaside town of Nanliao. In the video, the girl was caught up by the giant, long-tailed orange kite.

As seen on the video, the tail of the kite was twisting her several times above the crowd who struggle to pull the kite back. Onlookers being frightened were able to get under the girl to catch her.

According to the report, the young girl named Lin was frightened as tightly hold the tail of the kite after being dragged meters into the air. Fortunately, she only gains minor cuts and bruises from the incident.

The event was cut short following the incident. The city mayor issued an apology on behalf of the city, saying that an investigation is underway to stop similar happenings in the future.
