Mother and Son Illegally Detained by for a Month By Greedy Relatives

A rescued mother and son trembling with fear and trauma after they were illegally detained in their house by their own relatives for a month.

In an operation conducted by the Nationa Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and mother and son finally came out of their house after a month of detention. In the report of GMA’s 24 Oras, both have been illegally detained the compound since July 10, this year.

According to the report, they were prohibited to go out as long as their father won’t sign the documents. NBI agent Jimmy de Leon said they were brought to the compound accompanied by the armed security guards.

He added that they forcibly padlocked the gate to prevent them from going out. de Leon also revealed that they once tried to escape from the compound but they were stopped.

De Leon also said that there are nights some of the relatives are banging their door. Their fear got even worse when they were cut out of the water supply.

“May mga pagkakataon kung gabi, kinakalampag yung kanilang tinutuloyan doon, at pinuputulan pa raw sila linya ng tubig, kaya natatakot na sila,” the agent said.  

But the suspect, Amador Domingo, denied himself saying “Wala po kaming dine-detain, asan po yung dinetain? Wala po.” “Wala po kaming dinidetain dahil lahat ng nandito kamag-anak namin, at tsaka hu di kami nag dedetain, di hu kami ganun,” he added.

The 16 suspects including the security guards and other persons staying in the compound will face serious illegal detention charges without fine. It was also learned that the people who detained them is their uncle and her cousin.
