Pokwang Receives Birthday Greetings From Celebrity Friends
POKWANG – Actress-comedian Pokwang received birthday greetings from her celebrity friends.
Filipina actress and comedian Marietta Subong or better known as Pokwang started in a reality show in ABS-CBN. She appeared in sitcoms and dramas of the tv network.
Last July, Pokwang confirmed that she will be leaving the media network. She said she already asked permission to the Kapamilya network last year that she will be transferring.
Pokwang found home in TV 5. She is now hosting the morning talks show “Chika, BESH! Basta EveryDay Super Happy,” together with Ria Atayde and Pauleen Luna. The show aims to give audience a dose of “good vibes.”
In a previous article, former journalist Jay Sonza congratulated the comedian. He wrote, “Congratulations Ms. Pokwang to your new shows on your new home kapatid.”

Pokwang celebrated her 50th birthday on Thursday, August 27. Her husband Lee O’Brian took to social media to greet her on her special day.
“Happiest of birthdays, pangga @itspokwang27 !! Wishing you all the best this year and especially lots of blessings, happiness and love…”
“We love you very much and wish you all the best!!” he added.
Aside from her husband, Pokwang’s friends and colleagues in showbiz also sent birthday greetings. Angelica Panganiban shared a photo of them together in New York. It came with a caption “Happy birthday, mamang! Mahal na mahal kita!”
The comedian’s onscreen daughter Sue Ramirez, for her part, uploaded her photo with the cast of the movie “Mommy Issues.” “Happiest birthday to you, our forever young and beautiful Mamang.”
Other celebs who greeted Pokwang on her special day include Ria Atayde and John Prats.
