Angel Locsin extends help to these inspiring students
Actress-philanthropist Angel Locsin, through her program Iba ‘Yan, helped these former night club workers for their graduation rites.
Being in front of the camera as an actress, host, or product endorser, is not the only job description of Angel. She usually goes out of her way to help the needy and the less fortunate Pinoys, especially during the crisis.
Because of this endeavor that she has, she became an inspiration to many, thus, she is called “the real-life Darna”. Even her show has become a venue where inspiring stories are being featured.
Based on the article Abante, the episode last Sunday featured two women who were former workers in a night club. Angel Locsin was able to meet Claire Abayon and Mirasol Villegas through the foundation called Wipe Every Tear.
The said foundation aims to provide help to youth and women who were victims of human trafficking and different kinds of abuse. Claire and Mirasol were about to get their college diploma, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the graduation rites were postponed.

In line with this, Angel Losin and the Iba ‘Yan team set up graduation rites for the two inspiring students complete with the grooming and graduation robe.
The graduates received a message from celebrities. Actress Jodi Sta. Maria said that the story of the students will surely bring strength and encouragement to others while TV host Bianca Gonzales stressed that they should not be bothered by their pasts when it comes to reaching their goals.
News anchor Bernadette Sembrano also said that obstacles may make people stumble what the important things is getting back on track.
