Starting Of Classes Set To October 5, DepEd Says
STARTING OF CLASSES – The schedule for the starting of classes has changed to October 5, according to DepEd.
According to a Twitter post from the DZMM Teleradyo, opening of classes was supposed to start on August 24 (Monday) which is about two weeks from now.
However, Department of Education Secretary Leonor Briones made an announcement that it has moved to October 5 (Saturday).

President Rodrigo Duterte also signed a memorandum in light of the change of schedule of the opening of classes.
