Kevin Kwan Reacts to Heart Evangelista’s Poolside Photo
HEART EVANGELISTA – ‘Crazy Rich Asian’ author Kevin Kwan reacted to actress Heart Evangelista’s poolside photo.
Filipina actress, painter, and philanthropist Heart Evangelista has been making most of her “me-time” in the province of Sorsogon. Her husband Francis “Chiz” Escudero is the governor of the province.
The Filipina fashion icon gives her fans a glimpse of the things that keep her busy during her stay in the province. She shared photos of herself donating vitamins to hospitals, help the locals promote their business, and her visit to Bulusan Lake.
In a post on her Instagram account last August 11, Heart Evangelista shared a photo of herself reading the latest book of award-winning author Kevin Kwan. She was brandishing her own copy of the book to show support for her friend. It came with a caption, “You can find me at the poolside with my current read by @kewinkwanbooks.”
Kwan’s latest book was released last June and it immediately became one of New York Times bestsellers. It will be adapted into a movie by Sony Pictures and SK Global. He is the author of the best-selling novel ‘Crazy Rich Asians.’ The movie became a huge hit in 2018.

Heart Evangelista’s poolside photo elicited a reaction from Kevin Kwan. The author wished the Pinay fashionista a good time as she pored over his latest book.
“Hope you’re enjoying it!!!,” he said.
Heart Evangelista and Kevin Kwan worked together in Harper Bazaar’s video. He invited the Kapuso star to Paris Couture Week along with some fashion influencers from Asia.
