JULIA BARRETTO – Former Kapamilya love team and ex-real life couple talk about their friendship and what happened after the broke up.
“For now, babalik muna kami sa pinagsimulan namin. Right now, we are the bestest of friends,” says the couple in a previous report which confirmed that they have indeed broken up. They are collectively called JoshLia and they were then among the most prominent love teams in the country.
And now, over a year after, the former real life couple reunited again for a new digital show entitled Love Unlock which will be shown in Kapamilya Online Live. Ever since, the two of them stressed that their decision to break up is a mutual decision.
In a digital press conference, the former love team shared that when they broke up, they tried hard to save their friendship – the main foundation of their relationship even before they officially got together as a couple. The friendship is also the main reason why despite their split, they were still able to be good to each other.
“We were able to work at peace. We were able to come face to face at peace. Talk to each other at peace. Grateful ako kasi pina-mature talaga kami ng panahon ni Josh,” says Julia.
Joshua, on his part, he revealed that after they have broken up, they never lost their communication. He actually went to her new house and they always communicate. He said as per PEP, “May mga times kaming ganun. Baka feeling lang ng mga tao kasi siyempre naghiwalay kami, pero wala naman po.”
