Julia Montes “Burado” Series w/ Nadine Lustre Canceled, Here’s Reason

“Burado” of Julia Montes and Nadine Lustre is officially erased.

JULIA MONTES – The supposed to be upcoming action series of Julia Montes and Nadine Lustre, “Burado”, is officially canceled.

Filipina actresses Julia Montes and Nadine Lustre are among the most celebrated artists of their generation and they are to star in a single teleserye – Burado. However, it got canceled. This is the first ABS-CBN series in production amid the pandemic which they officially let go.

Accordingly, the show has already begun shooting in Thailand even before the COVID-19 outbreak. They have accordingly planned out to do more scenes in other countries. This series stars other artists such as Paulo AvelinoZanjoe Marudo, Thai actor Denkhun Ngamnet, Angel Aquino, Lotlot de Leon, Ina Raymundo, Joko Diaz, Raymond Bagatsing, Matet de Leon, Kokoy de Santos, and McCoy de Leon.

Mainly, the reason of this is the pandemic and the other reason is that the Thai actor “cannot be flown in due to the pandemic” as per PEP. He is among the leads. Meanwhile, the other shows such as Bea Alonzo’s Kahit Minsan Lang and Ivana Alawi’s Ang Lihim ni Ligaya are pushed through. Also, the series Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin of Jodi Sta. Maria and Iza Calzado is set to premiere August 17.

In a previous article, there were rumors that the two lead female actresses backed out from the show. The first to allegedly announce her withdrawal is Montes who doesn’t want to locked in for taping. This is one of the health protocols the production set need to comply for safety purposes.
