Heart Evangelista Shows Support For Friend Kevin Kwan
HEART EVANGELISTA – Pinay celebrity fashion icon Heart Evangelista showed support for her friend Kevin Kwan by showing off her own copy of his latest book.
Kevin Kwan is the author of the hilarious and heartwarming best-selling novel “Crazy Rich Asian.” The book has been translated into more than thirty (30) languages.
The book was later adapted into a film. After its release in 2018, it became a global sensation. It earned $238 million worldwide. The movie’s sequel is on the way.
In a previous article, Kevin Kwan revealed the reason why he chose Heart Evangelista for Harper Bazaar’s feature. He said he chose Filipina actress because she “has this timeless and classic beauty and she has elegance and style that demands to be showcased. It was an easy choice to make.”
He also said he want to feature the Pinay fashion icon to his future tv and movie projects. He said, “One day that stars will align and we can find the perfect project to showcase your talent. That would be so lovely. I will keep fighting for that.”

Kevin Kwan released his latest book last June and it immediately became a New York Times bestseller. His book will be adapted into a movie by SK Global and Sony Pictures.
On Tuesday, August 11, Heart Evangelista showed his support for her friend Kevin by brandishing her own copy of his latest book on her Instagram account. She said Kevin’s latest book is her “current read,” as she sits by the poolside.
