Lolit Solis has this post against Rappler
Entertainment columnist-talent manager Lolit Solis slammed social media news site Rappler for its alleged “pagyayabang” remark against Wowowin host Willie Revillame.
In her recent Instagram post, Lolit said that the issue of Willie’s P5 million donation to jeepney drivers made her laugh. Last week, during the press briefing of Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, the game show host joined.
Willie said that he will be donating to jeepney drivers affected by the modified community quarantine. Many netizens lauded the TV host for doing that. However, Lolit Solis slammed an alleged negative remark from Rappler against Willie Revillame.
“Sabi ng Rappler pagyayabang daw sa parte ni Willie. Sa panahon ito na dapat tulungan ang lahat dapat pa bang tawagin pagyayabang ang kahit anong tulong na puwede mo ibigay?” the entertainment columnist said in her post.

She added that the money that Willie gave is from his sponsors who gave donations through him. “Mabuti nga at ang isang programa na Tutok to Win binibigyan tiwala para maging daan ng pagtulong sa mga kapus palad,” the columnist stressed out.
Then, Lolit pointed this out: “Siguro nga kayabangan matatawag na ang laki ng naibigay mo dahil ang laki ng binigay ng sponsors ar salamat dahil aminin natin ang pinaka hirap sa panahon ito ang mga drivers na namamalimos na sa hirap.”
She also said that if that was really boasting on the part of the TV host, she will accept it. For Lolit, it is better that way than to just scrutinize without extending any help.
The talent manager also stressed that society is not full of negativity and people should not add more of that. Lolit Solis also said that is it a good thing that the drivers will no longer starve.
