Action star Robin Padilla has this post against critics of government.

ROBIN PADILLA – Veteran actor and action star Robin Padilla has this message to all the critics of the current administration amid the pandemic.

The world is currently facing a huge health crisis – the Coronavirus Disease 2019 or also known as the COVID-19 which is highly deadly and contagious. Imperfect as we all are, the government have their lapses and shortcomings in addressing the pandemic in the country. Despite all their efforts, the numbers of positive cases continue to rise.

And currently, the failure to curb the spread is being blamed to the government and aside from the health crisis, the current administration also faces criticisms from the people. With this, Robin Padilla, a known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, hits all the critics.

“We are at war,” he says at the start of his post. He indicated that a lot of people still haven’t fully absorbed it yet that we are all in a serious war against the deadly disease. We have all not yet risen up to survive poverty due to abusive people, corrupt officials, and among others. He added, “Hindi ko na talaga batid kung san hindi magkaintindihan ang mga Pilipino.”

Above all these things, for the actor, what people should focus on is helping and to act upon the main problem. There’s accordingly no point in criticizing and he ended his post with this statement, “Ask not what your country can do for you – ask what you can do for your country.”
