Eight More Tarlac Policemen Infected With COVID-19

TARLAC POLICEMEN – Eight more policemen in Bamban town in Tarlac province were confirmed positive cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

According to a report from Inquirer, this adds up to a total of 113 COVID-19 cases in the province.

Tarlac provincial director Police Col. David Poklay reported that the cops were all asymptomatic and were admitted to the National Government Administrative Center at New Clark City in the municipality of Capas.

Meanwhile, another case was admitted in the Cong. Enrique “Henry” Cojuangco Memorial Hospital in the municipality of Moncada.

Based on the report, there 8 cops are now among the 15 Philippine National Police personnel who got infected with the virus, which includes a policewoman. 34 years of age who is also pregnant and a non-uniformed member of the Bamban police station.

In a separate report in the province, part of it faced an earthquake on June 26, 2020 in the municipality of Mayantoc at 02:53 AM.

The quake was spotted at 0.40°North, 123.04°East – 012 km South 79° East of La Carlota City. There were no expected damages. Three areas, among them include one in Pampanga, felt Intensity II.
