Bureau Of Customs Retrieved P1.6 Million Worth Of Drugs

BUREAU OF CUSTOMS – The Bureau of Customs recently recovered drugs that are worth at about P1.6 million in Pampanga.

According to DZMM TeleRadyo on Twitter, the said illegal drugs that are worth at about P1.6 million were confiscated by BOC IN Clark, Pampanga.

The BOC reported that these were discovered in eight shipments from USA, Canada, France, and Germany. The illegal drugs were declared as “gift shirts” and baby blankets.

Last month, the BOC also seized fake cigarettes which is worth at around P2.6 million.

Other than the cigarettes, the raiding team, at that time, which is composed of agents of the the Enforcement Security Service and Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service , also retrieved 86 master cases of the counterfeit items.

It was based on an order that was issued by Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero. Unfortunately, during the said raid, no one was nabbed.
