PAGASA – Trough Of LPA To Bring Cloudy Skies, Scattered Rains This August 6, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day, August 6, 2020 (Thursday).

The latest weather forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Low Pressure Area was last spotted at about 435 kilometers west southwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

According to GMA News, the trough of the LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, Mindanao, and Quezon.

The bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to occasionally heavy rain showersd.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, on the other hand will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Again, the bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur, especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao will face slight to moderate winds that are moving in the southwest to southeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
