Instead of apologizing, Ludovica doubled down and said:

Ngayon, back to zero ulit

(I’ll accept whatever punishment caused by my statement. But I know that in or area, I think that an iron hand maybe what’s needed because after 5 months of please, nothing happens. Now, it’s back to zero).

Recently, Senator Risa Hontiveros called out the QC Task Force head, the Commission of Human Rights, and QC Mayor Joy Belmonte. Hontiveros emphasized that amid a pandemic, officials should not never be allowed to incite violence to the public.

However, according to a report from ABS-CBN, Ludovica apologized to everybody that he hurt with his statement.

(I apologize for those I hurt, But, if you’re from my area, you’d see how undisciplined the people here area. They’re not afraid of anything. I think the people here understand.)

Furhtermore, he emphasized that his “shoot to kill” statement has never been a policy of QC Mayor Belmonte and never will be.

He also noted that over 7,000 residents have been arrested for violating health protocols during the lockdowns.
