Here’s what Lolit Solis said about Jennylyn Mercado and Arnell Ignacio
Entertainment columnist-talent manager Lolit Solis shared her opinion regarding the issue between Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado and actor Arnell Ignacio.
Jennylyn has caught the attention of the online community these past weeks due to her fiery statements against the government. She has raised various social issues on her social media posts and has become vocal in criticizing government agencies and officials.
Because of this, two results happened to her. She gained the respect and admiration of those who are against the government while she is being criticized by the supporters of the administration.
Arnell, as one of the vocal supporters of the Duterte administration, criticized Jennylyn for her “loudness” online. He said that if the Kapuso star really wants to involve herself in politics or in the matters of the government, she should do her research.
Following that, Jennylyn shared an intriguing post which for many was her answer to the statement of Arnell against her.
As several showbiz personalities have already shared a piece of their minds regarding this issue, Lolit Solis also shared her opinion.
In her recent Instagram post, Manay Lolit said that she is not taking sides but she pointed out that Arnell is right. “Medyo dahan dahan sa issues. Tama, dapat vigilant, dapat may boses, pero pag sa lahat sinalihan mo wala ng premium iyon boses mo, ordinary na lang,” the talent manager said.
She added that the Kapuso star should learn to choose her battle. “Tama si Arnel magiging para kang aktibista na salita ng salita dahil lang anti ka kaya hindi mo nakikita iyon kabilang side,” Lolit Solis added.
