Iya Villania Get Real About Giving Birth
IYA VILLANIA – GMA-7 host Iya Villania shared her experience giving birth to their third child.
Last January, celebrity couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano announced that they are expecting their third baby. The Kapuso host did not have a gender reveal party for their 3rd child because they wanted to keep the gender of their baby a surprise until she gave birth. They already have two boys, Primo and Leon.
Iya and Drew welcomed their third child – a baby girl – on Saturday, July 18. Drew uploaded the first photo of their daughter Alana Lauren on Instagram.
In a previous article, Iya Villania released a special vlog over the weekend to mark the second week since she gave birth to their first daughter. She shared a video of herself giving birth to Alana on their Youtube Channel, “Life With the Arellanos.”

Iya Villania said lots of people said she make it look so easy because of her energy. She clarified that giving birth is not that easy.
“Pero, I guess you know that feeling after workout where you are just high, got all the energy. that’s how I feel after delivery,”
“Seriously man, delivery? It’s so tough and it’s the most uncomfortable feeling, and every time I do it, it’s like I don’t ever want to feel this again.
“And then, what do you know? Umabot pang tatlo.”
In her vlog, Iya said, referring to their 3rd baby, “Sana iyan na talaga iyong huli.”
After the release of her vlog, Iya Villania read some of the comments: “Ba’t parang hindi siya nahirapan? Ba’t parang hindi siya nanganak?”
In her IG Stories, she said: “Let me tell you that nahirapan ako, and nanganak po. This is the evidence.”
She showed her postpartum body, stretch marks, dark lines, flabs, and stretched belly button. “Nanganak po ako,” she said.
