Iya Villania Shares Footage of Herself Giving Birth
IYA VILLANIA – Kapuso star Iya Villania shared a video of herself giving birth to daughter Alana Lauren.
Celebrity couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano tied the knot in 2014 and they had their first baby in 2016. Their second son was born in August 2018.
Last January, they announced that they’re expecting their third baby. Last May, Drew shared a photo of his wife’s baby bump. It came with a caption “We are almost 8 months.”
The Kapuso couple welcomed their third child Alana Lauren V. Arellano on July 18. Drew shared the first picture of their daughter on social media while Iya shared on her IG Stories that she delivered her daughter at 7:15 am.
Over the weekend, Iya Villania marked the 2nd week since she gave birth to their first daughter by releasing a special vlog. On their Youtube Channel, “Life With the Arellanos,” the tv host shared how they prepared for the coming of their third baby.
“Thank God that we were able to do our normal delivery. And uh, what a joke! I was so sure that it was going to be a boy…”
“Siyempre, everyone’s like, ‘Ang bilis! You make it look so easy!’ ‘Coz of my energy after, pero… I guess ‘yung parang, you know that feeling after workout where you’re just like high and you got all the energy. That’s how I feel after delivery. But seriously that delivery? It’s so tough and it’s the most uncomfortable feeling. And every time I do it, it’s like, ‘I don’t ever want to feel this again.’ But what do you know? Umabot pang tatlo. So sana ‘yan na talaga ‘yung huli,” she added.
Iya Villania said she meant to share the video for other expectant moms who feel nervous about giving birth amid the pandemic. Her latest vlog has garnered 349,210 views as of this writing.
