Award-winning actress Alessandra de Rossi reacted to the news about an ostrich running on the loose in Quezon City.
An ostrich caught the attention of residence of the said city as well as the attention of the netizen when it was captured on video running on the street of Mapayapa Village 3 in the said city.
Because of this, the ostrich has become one of the trending topics on the micro-blogging social media platform on Tuesday. Apparently, this also caught the attention of Alessandra.
In her recent Twitter post, the actress retweeted a post from ABS-CBN News showing a video wherein the ostrich can be seen running. “Yung totoo? (smiling with tears of joy emojis),” Alex wrote in the caption of her post.
Following this post, Alex shared the photos of the ostrich being succumb by the authorities. She said that she hoped the animal is fine. “Sana di nasaktan. Minsan lang nakalaya, kulong na naman. Sana ilagay sya sa tunay nyang lugar,” the actress wrote.
Because of this incident, Alessandra de Rossi recalled the time when she used to like being at a zoo. However, she feels bad every time she sees animals being caged.

“Tuwang-tuwa ako sa zoo dati. Nung lumaki na ako, di ko na kaya. Gusto ko lang makakita ng gorilla, pero naawa din ako. Pati sa lahat. Sana hindi sila nakakulong lang. May youtube naman na for info. Di na kailangan sa personal para maconfirm. Or safari nalang. Let them be,” she shard.
Netizens echoed this thought of the award-winning actress regarding animals.
