Politician and businessman Mikee Morada is the future husband of Kapamilya actress and host Alex Gonzaga. They got engaged in Hong Kong last December 2019. Their engagement announcement topped the news online and her vlog about has now millions of views.

Alex’s relationship with Mikee for the past years remained private. They are not really showy and clingy in social media which many people loved and understood. As much as everyone is much aware, it was because of actor Piolo Pascual that they were able to meet and paved way for their love story.

Now, a tradition in the country, “pamamanhikan” is done before the formal wedding happens where the families of the bride-to-be and groom-to-be meet each other to talk about details of the upcoming union. Aside from that, this old-fashioned tradition also helps to make the two families get closer.

And for the third anniversary of her successful YouTube channel, Alex gathered her family and the family of her future husband for a “pamamanhikan”. Accordingly, that was the first time that her family and his family will meet each other at their house. Although it is basically not really the very first but that night is special as it will turn everything official.
