Eat Bulaga Gives Scholarship to the First Doctor of Manobo Tribe
The longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga has given the “New Normal EBest Scholar” to the first doctor of Manobo Tribe.
Recently, the longest-running noontime show in the country has celebrated its 41st anniversary in the new normal scheme. For more than four decades, Eat Bulaga has become part of the Filipinos.
The program not only gives happiness to the viewers but also continues to help and inspire many Filipinos. Eat Bulaga has become a segment that aims to provide assistance to Filipinos across the country.
And one of the most well-known is “Juan for All, All for Juan” who toured various places here in the Philippines to give opportunity and assistance to needy people. Apart from the financial assistance and food distributed to millions of Filipinos, some lives have also been changed due to Eat Bulaga.
One of these is because they provide scholarships to students who are not able to study. In 2017, the good news came out that six of the “Eat Bulaga Excellent Student Awards or EBest” scholars of Eat Bulaga have graduated from college.
And now that there is a pandemic, EB has reopened the “New Normal EBest Scholar” for medicine and nursing graduates who are struggling financially with their review and board exam.
The New Normal EBest Scholarship was first awarded to the viral first registered nurse of Tigwahanon-Manobo natives in Bukidnon Joeffrey Mambucon or better known as Otit.
Eat Bulaga will help Otit with his review until he can take the board exam and become a full-fledged doctor. Otit is very grateful for the opportunity given to him. It will be recalled that Otit was a guest of the segment “Bawal Judgmental” and because of that people learned more about his touching story.
