Angel Locsin Says “Congrats” To Calida as 2nd Highest Paid Gov’t Official

ANGEL LOCSIN – Solicitor General Jose Calida landed on second spot at the highest paid government official in the country and Angel Locsin has this reaction.

Based on a previous article, Solicitor General Jose Calida is now the second highest paid government official in 2019 according to latest report from the Commission on Audit released on Wednesday. The COA’s 2019 Report on Salaries and Allowances or ROSA indicated that he received over Php 16.952 million last year. In 2018, he was at the 6th spot.

Topping the list is former United Coconut Planters Bank president and CEO Higinio Macadaeg Jr. who got paid Php 20.475 million. Third on the list is Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Benjamin Diokno receiving Php 15.45 million.

And Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin has reacted to this saying “uy, congrats”. To recall, the solicitor general was the one who filed the quo warranto petition against the ABS-CBN network. This is amid the media company’s fight to have a franchise renewal.
