St Luke’s Hospital Stops Accepting Walk-In Coronavirus Tests

ST LUKE’S HOSPITAL – Starting tomorrow, July 28, St. Luke’s Hospital announced they would no longer accept walk-in COVID-19 tests.

The hospital made the decision to ensure that it could manage the flow of patients who need to get tested. In addition, St. Luke’s said they wanted to maintain the safety of their workers in their hospitals.

Recently, several hospitals have already warned they were approaching max capacity and could no longer cater to COVID-19 patients. However, Palace emphasized that their were enough beds to cater the infected.

Meanwhile, St. Luke’s Medical Center urged patients to book a slot for the COVID-19 tests through its product information center. In their Facebook post, they said:

Please be informed that effective tomorrow, July 29, 2020, St. Luke’s Medical Center will no longer accept walk-in asymptomatic patients who wish to undergo RT-PCR COVID-19 testing.
