PAGASA – LPA To Bring Cloudy Skies, Scattered To Widespread Rains Over Parts Of PH This July 28, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this July 28, 2020.

The latest update from the state weather bureau says that the Low Pressure Area or LPA was seen at about 310 kilometers east of Virac town in Catanduanes.

According to GMA News, the LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains over Bicol Region and eastern Visayas,

The bureau further warned that flash floods or landslides might occur especially during moderate to occasional heavy rains.

The LPA will also bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, and the rest of Visayas.

The bureau further warned that flash floods or landslides might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers mostly in the afternoon or evening due to localized thunderstorms will be faced by the rest of the country.

Again, the bureau warned that flash floods or landslides might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind forecast, Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the southwest to west direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

The sun has risen at around 5:39 AM and is expected to set at about 6:27 PM.
