DOH Reminds Public Not To Make A Joke Of Wearing Face Masks

DOH REMINDS PUBLIC – Amid the coronavirus pandemic, wearing face masks has become the new norm. However, millions of people still don’t take the most basic health precaution seriously.

Recently, Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddy Boy Locsin Jr. brought a video to the attention to the Department of Health. In the video, you could see a woman who brought two face masks, one for her nose, and the other for her mouth. So, when she would eat, the bottom half would open up allowing her to eat her junk foods.

However, in the video, the woman said that she only created the video as a joke and that it shouldn’t be taken seriously. But, the Department of Health (DOH) emphasized that face masks with a slit in the middle should never be worn as it poses an extreme health risk, especially amid the pandemic.
