Is it true that Angel Locsin will be mentioned in Duterte’s SONA 2020?
Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin is allegedly the “special mention” in the 2020 State of the Nation Address of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Angel is a known critic of the present administration, especially when the actress was fighting for her home network. Amid the pandemic, Kapamilya stars are airing their grievances on social media against the government for allegedly killing ABS-CBN when the 70 lawmakers voted to junk its 25-year franchise application.
The actress, who has been tagged as the real-life Darna due to her charitable endeavors, is very vocal in criticizing the government for what she believes that the Filipinos deserve to have.
Angel is not also afraid to answer prominent people who are supporters of the administration. She does not mind having a social media as long as she is fighting for what she believes.

However, her being vocal is the alleged reason that she will be the “special mention” in the President’s speech. Based on the article by Salve Asis in Pilipino Star Ngayon, Angel Locsin will be mentioned by the Chief Executive in his SONA on July 27.
Allegedly, a copy of the President’s speech leaked and it was said that the name of the Kapamilya actress was written there for her being “madaldal”.
However, Asis was not able to verify and she said that people would just find out if this speculation is true during the SONA.

Meanwhile, critics of the government have been doing various activities to show their protest. Many netizens used the hashtag “SONAgkaisa” and a concert was organized alongside the State of the Nation Address on the afternoon of Monday.
