Staff of Vice President Leni Robredo Who Are Positive for COVID-19 Reaches Eight (8) Now

STAFF OF VICE PRESIDENT – Four (4) more employees of Vice President Leni Robredo tested positive for COVID-19.

The COVID-19 is undeniably a very huge challenge to conquer. Its infection spreads fast that even the World Health Organization (WHO) was already alarmed by how quick it goes.

According to WHO, it may be a long-term battle against this disease. It has affected over 200 countries and territories across the globe and one of them is the Philippines.

In PH, the Department of Health (DOH) has recorded 76,444 cases of coronavirus with 1,879 deaths and 24,502 recoveries as of this writing. The quarantine measures are still up in the country now.

Amid the COVID-19 fight, several government employees have contracted COVID-19 in the line of their duties. Among them are the staff of Vice President Leni Robredo.

Previously, it was reported that four (4) of Vice Pres. Robredo’s staff members tested positive for COVID-19. The concerned individuals were tested right away including the second-highest official in PH.

Recently, on social media, it was announced that four (4) more staff of Vice President Leni Robredo have tested positive for COVID-19 bringing the total to eight (8) now. It was confirmed by the Vice President herself.

Vice Pres. Robredo assured that her Office has also reached out to the said staff to assure them of assistance. According to her, they are in good spirits and none of them is showing severe symptoms.

The work for the Office of the Vice President continues in a home arrangement setting. Citing that her employees contracted the disease in the line of their duty, the VP affirmed their “courage” and asked the public to pray for their speedy recovery. Here’s her Facebook post:
