PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this July 24, 2020.

The latest weather update from the state bureau says that the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ will affect Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

According to GMA News, ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Palawan, Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, Western and Central Visayas.

The bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur especially during moderate to occasionally heavy rains.

The ITCZ, as well as localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Again, the bureau warned that flash floods or landslides might occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, the entire archipelago will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

The sun has risen at about 5:37 AM and is expected to set at about 6:28 PM.
