PAGASA – Intertropical Convergence Zone To Affect Southern Luzon, Visayas This July 22, 2020

PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this July 22, 2020.

The latest weather update from the state bureau says that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting Southern Luzon and Visayas on this day.

According to GMA, the ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Western Visayas, MIMAROPA, Quezon, Laguna, Batangas, and Cavite.

The bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur especially during moderate to occasionally heavy rains.

The ITCZ, as well as localized thunderstorms, will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Again, the bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, northern and central Luzon will have light to moderate moving eastward while facing slight to moderate.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate moving eastward while facing slight to moderate.

The sun has risen at around 5:37 AM and is expected to set at 6:28 PM.
