Nowadays, a lot of Filipino people are making their own small businesses just to survive after losing jobs during the coronavirus pandemic. The health crisis does not only affect the public’s health but also the global economy.
The Facebook page “Pilipinas Trending Viral” has shared the photos of a poor lady vendor picking up shrimps on the floor after it was thrown by local officials in the area. The heartbreaking images garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the photos, it can be seen that the shrimp vendor and its colleague were picking up their shrimp products from the floor after it was discarded. The officials reportedly did it because selling is allegedly prohibited in the area.
According to the post, it was the only source of income of the poor vendor amid the coronavirus pandemic. The incident reportedly happened in Maligas, Pampanga. The uploader also wants the culprits to be punished for their cruelty against the vendor.
