PAGASA – Here are the latest updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) this July 16, 2020.

The latest update from the state weather bureau says that the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ will be affecting Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao on this day.

According to GMA News, ITCZ will be bringing cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Visayas, Palawan, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga.

The bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have rtly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Again, the bureau warned of flash floods or landslides that might occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the forecast wind speed, southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the southeast to southwest direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

The sun has risen at around 5:35 AM and is expected to set at 6:29 PM.
