Jericho Rosales Pens Heartfelt Message After House Panel Closes Down ABS-CBN
JERICHO ROSALES – Filipino actor Jericho Rosales penned a heartfelt message after the House Panel close down ABS-CBN.
Media giant ABS-CBN recently shut down after the majority of the House panel voted for its application to be junked. Famous personalities and celebrities are worried about the 11,000 workers who lost their job amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The tv network had been trying to renew its franchise since 2014. The company faced a lot of roadblocks, especially under President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s administration.
A day after the House panel rejected ABS-CBN’s franchise application, Kapamilya actors expressed their dismay on social media. In a report, actor Gerald Anderson shared the video of ABS-CBN president Carlo Katigbak thanking his “Kapamilya.”
Kapamilya actor and singer Jericho Rosales penned a heartfelt message after the denial of ABS-CBN’s franchise bid. He has been a Kapamilya since 1997.
“Ramdam ang pagyuko ng bawat isang umasa. Ramdam ang bigat sa katahimikang hindi na kailangan ipaliwanag,” he said.
Jericho Rosales has been a visible figure in the campaign for the media network’s franchise renewal. In a post on his Instagram account last July 11, the 40-year-old celebrity opted for an optimistic outlook after lawmakers rejected the network’s franchise bid.
“Nagkakaintindihan sa magkasingtunog na buntong hininga. Masakit man ang pagkatalo ngayon, ito ang mas magpapatamis sa tagumpay na nagaantay…”
“Bukas muling titingala. Hindi bawal ang tumingala. Ngayong gabi tingnan ang mga tala. Bukas ramdamin ang araw. Walang harang ang himpapawid. Kakabig lang muna ng kaunti. Tuloy ang buhay. Tuloy ang pagmamahal. Tuloy ang biyahe. Hanggang sa muli, kap,” he wrote.
