Naya Rivera was found dead after 5 days of searching
Glee star Naya Rivera, five days after she was reported missing on California’s Lake Piru, was found dead and this is being associated with the death of former co-stars Cory Monteith and Mark Salling.
The 33-year-old actress went on a boat trip with her 4-year-old son on July 8, based on the report from 7News. However, when the boat failed to return on its expected time, its vendor found the vessel drifting in the northern end of the lake.
Naya’s son was found asleep on the boat and he was still wearing his life jacket. Another life jacket was found on the boat along with the purse and identification of the actress.
Authorities had a hard time locating her body due to various factors. Ventura County Sheriff Bill Ayub said that Naya’s body may have been “concealed within some shrubbery on the floor lake” making the recovery efforts challenging.

After authorities have found the dead body of Naya Rivera on July 13, 2020, it is inevitable for many to recall the death of Glee male lead star Cory Monteith. Reportedly, he was found dead at a hotel room in Vancouver, Canada on July 13, 2013.
Based on 7News’ report, his death was accidental which is a result of mixed drug toxicity. He died at 31. Five years after that, another Glee cast member was found dead.
Mark Salling ended his own life when he was 35 years old. That was two years after he was indicted on charges of receiving and possessing child p0rn0gr@phy, the report stated.
The late actor, who dated Naya Rivera, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child p0rn0gr@phy. He was scheduled to have his sentence on the day when he died.
