ABS-CBN – The Kapamilya Actress Kim Chiu is now making buzz again online after posting #NoToABSCBNFranchiseRenewal on Twitter.

The Kapamilya network’s broadcast operation has been suspect for more than two months after its franchise has expired last May 4, 2020. The National Telecommunications Commission also issued a Cease and Desist Order against the company.

However, the hearing regarding the giant network’s franchise renewal continues and undergoes several sessions before the final verdict.

On Friday (July 10, 2020), the House Franchise Committee denied the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN. The company’s employees get emotional and cried over the decision of the House Committee to deny the franchise bid.

Recently, the Chinita Princess received massive amount of criticisms online after posting #NoToABSCBNFranchiseRenewal, which means that she is opposing the franchise renewal of the network.

However, the lady celebrity immediately deleted her Tweet realizing that she was just confused while making the post. The actress might want to express her support for her network but made a wrong hashtag by mistake. Some netizens were able to screenshot her tweet.
