Lady From Cebu Crosses Sea To Go To San Carlos For Rebond

HAIR REBOND FIASCO – A lady from Cebu was intercepted by authorities as she attempted to get to San Carlos, Negros Occidental for a rebond.

Cebu has been the latest COVID-19 hotspot in the Philippines. As such, President Rodrigo Duterte re-imposed the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ).

However, even with the ever-increasing number of cases, some people still go out of their way for their own selfish reasons. Amid the coronavirus outbreak in Cebu, a lady went to extreme lengths just to get a hair rebond on another island.

According to an article from Bombo Radyo, the San Carlos Police Station intercepted the lady from Cebu on July 4. The lady went aboard a pump boat to get to Sitio Troso, Barangay Bulwangan at around 10:00 AM.

Upon entering the city, the lady got herself a hair rebond. Thankfully, the authorities came in time to place the lady in quarantine. Additionally, the man who got her a rebond was also placed under isolation.

As per the article, three minors who tagged along with them on the pump boat were also placed in the city’s quarantine facility. Furthermore, the pump boat operator was also placed under quarantine.

Due to the rising COVID-19 cases, locally stranded individuals (LSI) from Regions 7, 8, and CARAGA have been barred entry from Negros.
