Former Police Turn Leader of Kidnap Group Killed in an Encounter in Binangonan
Former police and now allegedly turn into a leader of a kidnap for ransom group along with his colleague were killed in a clash in Binangonan, Rizal.
PO1 Rafael Maray was former police who allegedly turn into a leader of a kidnap for ransom group. Based on the report, Maray has gone AWOL (absent without leave) when he was assigned in Mindanao.
Maray has also an existing record after being involved in ‘hulidap’ modus. Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police – Anti Kidnapping Group (PNP-AKG) encounters the suspects riding a white van with kidnapped victims inside.

On the encounter, the accomplices of the suspect fled. They are still holding their five kidnapped victims who were simultaneously abducted in separate barangay in Binangonan on June 3.
