Arwind Santos got a perfect score on Eat Bulaga’s Bawal Judgmental
PBA star Arwind Santos is the first-ever judge contestant on Bawal Judgmental segment of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
The said segment on the Kapuso variety show has become so popular. For several days, BJ topped the Twitter trends. One of the recent notable episode was when it featured mayors of from different cities and municipalities. That included Mayor Donya Tesoro who is being shipped to Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, the son of EB host Vic Sotto.
The episode that featured voice talents also became a trending topic on the micro-blogging social media platform.
On July 4, the episode featured Arwind Santos as the guest judge. He had to choose his answers depending on his personal judgment to participants. For this episode, the guest had to choose from a group of stand-up comedians Boobay, Boobsie, Big Mouth, Aj Tamiza, Orca, Dandan, and George, based on the article from GMA Entertainment.
They are all from EB Dabarkad Allan K’s comedy bars Klownz and Zirkoh. Arwind garnered the admiration of the hosts Paolo Ballesteros, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Maine Mendoza, Alden Richards and Bossing Vic Sotto for his expertise to choose from the participants.
Netizens also celebrated Arwind on Twitter as he is the first guest judge to get all the answers correct.
On the other hand, the happy Bawal Judgmental segment became an emotional one when the topic about the closure of comedy bars due to the pandemic was discussed.
Allan K had to declare bankruptcy and close his bars due to the health crisis in the Philippines which greatly affected the comedians. At the end of the segment, Bossing Vic has this message for them:
“Dahil likas sa mga Pilipino ang pagiging masayahin, sa kahit anong pagsubok ay nagagawa pa rin nating tumawa. Sana sa kabila ng ating pinagdadaanan, manatili pa rin ang ngiti sa inyong mga mukha at puso.”
