Lady Threatens To Be Evicted from Rented House Weaves Sleeping Mat from Plastic Straws

The poor lady who was threatened to be evicted by the landlady from her rented house weaves sleeping mat out of scrap plastic straws.

The 37-year-old frontliner of their barangay, resident of Paco, Manila was threatened to be evicted from the rented house if she fails to pay. Lemy Saguilon, previously said she makes sleeping mats for people who are homeless, but now, she will make one for herself.

Based on the report of Philippine Star, making a sleeping mat is not new to her as she has done it before for the “homeless people” who buy her work for P350. The only difference is that she uses her own preparations in case she eventually evacuated if her landlady forces her to leave.
