Remains Of 301 OFWs From Saudi Arabia Repatriated, DOLE Says
REMAINS OF 301 OFWS FROM SAUDI ARABIA – The Department of Labor and Employment said that the remains of 301 OFWs from Saudi Arabia will be repatriated.
According to the official Facebook page of ABS-CBN News, the repatriation is set to occur on early July. Among the 301 were 152 OFWs who succumbed to Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Based on the post, two planes will be chartered to fly the COVID-19 fatalities separately. The victims of the virus are set to be sent straight to crematoriums.
