Pinoy Seafarer Saves Korean Crewmate After He Accidentally Falls Overboard
PINOY SEAFARER SAVES KOREAN – A Seafarer from San Jose, Antique earns praise after he saved a Korean crewmate who fell overboard.
The Korean was said to have accidentally fell overboard. Meanwhile, the other crew members had a hard time rescuing the Korean because of the harsh waves. Luckily, Vrose Santillan quickly dove into the water to save the Korean.
Thankfully, their ship was still anchored off the coast of Indonesia when the Korean fell overboard. Because of Santillan and another crewmate who also jumped into the water, the Korean was saved.
Afterward, the Korean wanted to give Santillan a cash prize because of his good deeds. However, Santillan respectfully declined his offer. Instead, he accepted the Pringles chips given by the Korean.
