John Lloyd Cruz encourages everyone to take part in fighting against COVID-19
A-list John Lloyd Cruz called for the cooperation of every Filipino, especially Cebuanos, in the fight against the COVID-19.
Celebrities have been using their platforms to inform or educate the public regarding the fatal effect of this pandemic. They are also extending help to those who are affected by the lockdown.
John Lloyd also took part in this endeavor. Previously, he fulfilled his promise to donate vitamins to children and frontliners in Guadalupe, Cebu. Aside from this, he was also seen having a meeting with local officials as they talked about a possible project for the youth.
Just recently, the A-list actor also took part in encouraging everyone to do their part in order to avoid the spread of the new coronavirus. On behalf of the University of the Philippines Medical Alumni Society – Cebu Chapter, John Lloyd Cruz called out to Filipinos, especially Cebuanos to take necessary precautions amid the pandemic.

“Magsuot ho tayo ng face mask. Maghugas lagi ng kamay. Manatili po tayo sa ating mga balay (bahay). At kung kinakailangan po lumabas, sundin po ang social distancing. Naay paglaum. Kita ang paglaum. (There is hope. We are the hope),” he said in the campaign video of UPMAS Cebu.
These past few weeks, COVID-19 confirmed cases in Cebu spiked. In line with this, the campaign hopes that Cebuanos will cooperate to prevent the virus from taking more lives.
